As a Project Designer within LV Systems, you will work in a technical environment where innovation, problem-solving, and quality go hand in hand. The unit is responsible for the development and delivery of low-voltage switchgear and control equipment to industries such as pulp and paper, mining, power generation, power transmission, chemicals, as well as infrastructure and construction.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Carry out project design of low-voltage switchgear.
• Design electrical solutions and ensure they meet high technical quality.
• Prepare documentation for both customers and production.
• Support customers, project managers, and installers in technical matters.
• Ensure cost-effective and robust design solutions.
• Share technical expertise and collaborate across team boundaries.
• Assist customers with technical issues – both remotely and on-site.
• Act according to ABB's values regarding safety and integrity – take responsibility for your actions and contribute to a safe work environment.

Your background

We are looking for someone who has:

• A bachelor's degree in electrical power/engineering or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of design engineering, tools, and processes, preferably Elmaster, ELPLAN, or similar systems.
• Preferable experience in electrical design within low voltage, relay protection, and communication with higher-level systems.
• A collaborative and solution-oriented personality with good communication skills.
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn new technologies and working methods.
• Fluent Swedish and good English in both spoken and written form.
